Tales of Fear and Superstition contains ten translated short stories, including “A Night on the Bridge”, “The Sugarloaf”, “An Ominous Number”, as well as “After Ninety Years”, a short story about the vampire Sava Savanović, which was adapted by Đorđe Kadijević in the film Leptirica (The Butterfly). This collection also features a detailed biography of the writer, a critical companion essay, as well as notes with explanations of lesser known terms.
